The Instructional Division
Grades K, 1, 2

Welcome to LGSL’s Instructional Division Web Page!

The instructional divisional is recruiting players currently in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade from Liverpool, Clay, North Syracuse and the surrounding areas. As much as possible Girls are teamed up with their friends and classmates or by request.

How we Play:

         -coach pitches

-an inning consists of going through the entire batting order....everyone hits

-each batter swings until they hit...no strikeouts

-forced outs are not called at beginning of season-only after they are understood by novice players

-everybody plays when in the field... no one sits the bench (sometimes that means you parents too!)

This division does not follow the rules of the more competitive divisions and is intended to introduce the sport in a fun way and keep all of the girls involved all of the time.  Applicable rules are taught and practiced as the season progresses.
